Day 8 Evening from Al

Things have settled down a bit.  We are back to chasing Lightspeed ( 3mi ahead )with the 1.5 oz kite, 730 miles to go, winds ENE 15-25 with gusts to 30, but not 35 thank you very much.  Eli fixed Awesome Tuna Deluxe wraps for dinner.  Graeme made Tabouli and hummous wraps for lunch.  Crew and skipper are all well after this mornings adventure.  Lots of time spent cleaning, drying, and straightening up aboard Kotuku.  Hoping for an uneventful restful evening, Al

  2. Glad to hear that things have settled down a bit. Go slow Lightspeed, go fast Kotuku! You guys are eating like kings. I'm on the home by myself, order pizza every other night plan. Em is very familiar with this! Don't want to admit how many times I check the tracker each day, wish it gave a more accurate speed update. Alex, 3 hrs on the helm must have made you an exhausted chalulah. All of you have been working so hard and it's great to see your progress! Wishing you the best of luck and great sailing. Em and Alex, love you so much and missing you heaps!
